Sustainability
Building sustainability on method, not claims
We explain openly how we address our impact, from source selection to packaging, and under which conditions we share a result.
Two futures
Life is a balance of opposites
The same morning, two different choices. Every choice leaves an impact; in textiles, too, two paths lie ahead.
01Same beginning
The same horizon
Both futures begin on the same morning: the same hills, the same daylight. What makes the difference is how production is set up.
02Linear
Take, make, waste
Raw material of unknown origin, a product used once, and in the end, waste. In the linear model, value is used up along with the product.
03Circular
Know the source, use it long, recover it
Material of known origin, a long service life and recovery. In the circular model, the end of one product can be the beginning of the next.
04The choice
Which future would you choose?
Drag the line and see the two futures side by side. From raw material choice to packaging, we are moving towards the circular one, and we explain the method behind it.
Four principles
What do we look at across the life cycle?
A life cycle approach assesses a product's impact across its whole journey rather than at a single stage. At each stage we ask:
- 01
Raw material
What is the source, and how is it documented?
- 02
Production
Which processes run, and with which inputs?
- 03
Packaging
How much packaging is needed, and how can it be reduced?
- 04
Logistics
How is the product transported, and at what load?
- 05
Use
How many times is it used, and under which care conditions?
- 06
End of use
How is the product separated, and where does it go next?
Packaging and logistics
We treat packaging as part of the product. On a project-by-project basis, we assess reducing unnecessary material, reusable cartons and lightweight packaging options, and product designs that reduce the transport load.
A living carton: used again and again
A carton's job need not end when the product arrives. Instead of single use, we are developing the idea of a reusable carton that can take on a new job after delivery.
A packaging option assessed per project; size and material are set for each project.

- 03An archive box at home or in the office

The global framework
The Paris Agreement was adopted at the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and sets the goal of limiting the rise in global temperature. The parties meet at the COP every year to review progress. For us, this framework is not a slogan; it is a reference for making product measurements and improvement steps comparable.
Carbon, told by measurement
A company's carbon footprint and a product's carbon footprint are separate measurements; one never stands in for the other. We share each with its method, scope and document.
- Completed
The company's footprint
Our first corporate carbon footprint calculation has been completed for the 2025 base year. 2025 was a trial and sample year with no sales or shipments, so comparisons with later years will use per-unit or per-kilogram indicators.
- Completed
A product's footprint
The cradle-to-gate carbon footprint of one of our products has been verified by TÜV Austria. The result belongs only to the product named in the document; it is not carried over to other products or to the company as a whole.
- Planned
The next step
We plan to build a measurable reduction plan following the ISO 14068-1 approach. Once the work begins, its status will be updated on the Compliance & trust page.
Reading a carbon claim
When you see a carbon or climate claim for a product, ask for the following. We share our own claims with the same information.
We do not make neutrality claims that rely on offsetting; we prefer to describe the measured value, its scope and the reduction steps.
- 01For which product or model?
- 02Measured by which method (e.g. ISO 14067)?
- 03With which report or document number?
- 04When was it done, and until when is it valid?
- 05What is the scope: cradle-to-gate or the whole life cycle?

Independent bodies we work with on testing, certification and verification
The listing of a body here does not mean that it has certified every one of our products; each result applies only to the product named in the report.
Compliance & trustDocuments and their status
We publish our management system certificates, environmental verifications and ongoing conformity processes, together with their status, on the Compliance & trust page. If you have a question about a document or its scope, please write to us.
